Clueless Gent’s Review

I don’t consider this to be Grisham’s finest book, but it was damned good.  If you have an opinion on the death penalty – be it fore or against – this should be a must-read!

I enjoyed the setting  Texas, partially because I happen to live in Texas.  The story is centered around the death penalty – a punishment that has always been quite popular in Texas.  The “govenor” plays a significant role as one of the antagonists.  Each time the govenor was mentioned, an image of Rick Perry flashed through my mind.  (I never liked Perry, so putting his face in the story as an antagonist was quite easy.)

As with any story involving the death penalty, there is a race against time!  If you’re unfamiliar with how death penalty stuff works, this book will really open your eyes!
